PREPARATION AND FILING OF THE TRADEMARK REGISTRATION APPLICATION

*these costs do not include government fees

• with the US Patent and Trademark Office:
  • $600 for 1 class.  The service includes trademark research, preparation of the trademark registration application, and up to one hour of consultation with our attorneys discussing the registration process.  We charge $225.00 for registration of the same trademark in an additional class. 

• with the Puerto Rico Department of State:
  • $600 for preparing the trademark application for registration in 1 class. The registratin fee includes trademark Research, preparing the registration application, and up to one hour of consultation with our attorneys discussing the registration process.  An additional $200.00 is charged for registration of the same trademark in an additional class. 

• If you want to register your mark with both, the US Patent and Trademark Office and the PR Department of State:
  • $1,000 for 1 class. The service includes: trademark research, preparation of the application for registration, and up to one hour of consultation with our attorneys discussing the registration process.  If you want to register the same trademark in an additional class in both register, an additional fee of $500.00 will be charged.  

*These prices include only the work required to file the trademark application.  They do not include the government filing fees or the additional attorney's fees that in some instances may be incurred.  If the application is likely to demand additional attention by the attorney, the attorney will so inform the client previous to the additional charge.   

TRADEMARK RESEARCH

We can do trademark research for you independently from the process of registrating the mark.  If you only want to research the relevant databases, without registrating the mark, we can search various databases to determine the probability of registrating your Mark with either the Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C. or the Department of State in Puerto Rico

• Search in US Federal registration database. ($200 per Class)
• Search in PR registration database. ($200 per Class)

TRADEMARK MAINTENANCE

• The Patent and Trademark Office requires the filing of certain documents periodically in order to keep your trademark registration alive.  We can prepare and file those documents for you at your request.

(From $250 per document plus US government fees.)

• Renewal Application.
• Declaration of Incontestability (optional)

• TEAS RF application - $275 per international class

• TEAS Regular application - $325 per international class
